½ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup brown sugar
½ tsp. salt
½ cup unsalted butter softened
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp. baking soda
8oz chocolate chunks
Whisk together the sugars, salt, and softened butter until the mixture forms with no lumps. Whisk in the egg and vanilla. Sift in flour and baking soda and stir until combined.
Let dough chill for at least 30 minutes. The longer the dough rests, the more flavorful it will be.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Line the baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges start to lightly brown.
