1 cup milk
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
1 egg
2 tbsp., melted cooking spray
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Combine wet ingredients (milk, butter, vanilla, and egg) together in a separate bowl.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and slowly add wet ingredients. Mix together until smooth.
The batter should be a thick consistency. If too thick to pour, add extra milk until desired consistency.
Heat nonstick pan or griddle over low-medium heat. Lightly grease the pan with butter. Pour ¼ cup of batter onto the pan and spread into round shapes. Flip when the underside is golden and bubbles begin to appear on the surface. Cool until golden. Repeat with the remaining batter.
